Clyde Gail Burchfield

Clyde Gail Burchfield, 68, of Halley, Ark. passed away Thursday, August 25th at the McGehee-Desha County Hospital. Mr. Burchfield was born August 2, 1943 in Dermott, Ark. to Clyde and Pauline Burchfield. Mr. Burchfield was a Baptist and a retired farmer. Survivors include his mother; Pauline Burchfield of Halley, Ark.; his wife; Shirley Cooper Burchfield of Halley, Ark.; one son; Brian Burchfield and his wife Angela of Halley, Ark.; one brother; Dale Burchfield and his wife Rhonda of Greers Ferry, and one sister; Annette Gray and her husband Troy of Halley, Ark.; three grandchildren; Blake Burchfield, Catie Gail Burchfield and Brittney Burchfield all of Halley, Ark. Mr. Burchfield was preceded in death by his father; Clyde Washington Burchfield and one brother; Jerry Burchfield. Services for Mr. Burchfield will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, August 28th at The Halley Baptist Church with Rev. Gene Gregory officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, August 27th at Griffin Funeral Service from 5-8 p.m. Pallbearers will be: Doug Hill, David Gossman, Kenneth Burchfield, Lynn Burchfield, Steven Baker and Lamar Frisby.
