Nina Ross Lenderman Lockard

Nina Ross Lenderman Lockard, 92, died at her home in Sylvania, Ark., on Aug. 25, 2011. She was born May 6, 1919, to Oscar and Daisy Ross. A lifelong resident of the Sylvania community, she was an active member of the Sylvania Presbyterian Church. She was a retired dairy farmer and loved to be outdoors, working in her yard and garden. She was preceded in death by her husbands Alton Lenderman and Truett Lockard; her brothers Ivan and Paul Ross; her sisters Evelyn Allison, Betty Howell and Jennalea Howell. Her survivors are her daughter, Joyce Lenderman Kelly; her grandson, Christopher Kelly and wife, Beth; her granddaughter, Amanda Kelly Southwood and husband Trey; two great-grandsons, Beaumont Southwood and Thomas Kelly; and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends beginning at 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 29, 2011, at Sylvania Presbyterian Church, with funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Sylvania Cemetery.
