Virginia Riling Kutait of Fort Smith, died August 28, 2011 in Atkins, Ark. She was born February 12, 1922 in Poteau, OK to Lester and Eva Clark Riling. She was a member of St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church. She is survived by one daughter, Karin Kutait of Atkins, Ark.; one son, Kemal Kutait, Jr of Little Rock, Ark.; brother and sister-in-law, Gene and Kay Riling of Bartlesville, Okla.; sister-in-law, Nita Kutait Fawcett of Fort Smith; Phoebe Williams Kutait of Little Rock; brother-in-law and wife Jess and Sandy Kutait, grandsons; T.J. Fowler & wife Sarah, and Kevin Fowler; granddaughters, Jessica Johnston & husband Brad of Cleveland, Ark., Erica Pepper of Edmond, Okla. and Sara Kutait of Conway, Ark.: and many nieces, nephews, & great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dr. Kemal E. Kutait; daughter, Kay Kutait Fowler; and granddaughter, Rebecca Nicole Kutait; and her parents. Graveside service will be Thursday, September 1, 2011 at 10 a.m. in the Woodlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. Honorary Pallbearers will be B.G. Hendrix, Dr. Jim & Pat Post, Joe & Jeann Nolte, Gene & Lanelle Stiles, and Dr. Joel & Sandy Parker. The family will greet friends at Edwards Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 5-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers she requests Memorials be given to the Charity of your choice or that you commit an act of kindness in her name.
