Berta Morris

Berta Morris, age 74, of Ozark, Mo., passed away Monday, November 28, 2011 at Cox Medical Center South. She was born November 5, 1937, in Houston, Ark., to Theodore and Grace (Thomas) Plants. Berta graduated from Perryville High School, Perryville, Arkansas, where she was the valedictorian. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Grace Plants; two brothers, Marvin Plants and Jim Plants. She is survived by one son, Dr. Eric Richard Morris and wife Dr. Taleyna of Springfield, Mo.; two grandchildren, Natalya and Ian Morris, both of Springfield; one sister, Jean Harding and husband Bill of Newquay, United Kingdom. Cremation services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home North, Springfield, Mo. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, December 3, 2011 in May Cemetery, Houston, Arkansas.
