Ona Summers

ONA SUMMERS, 98, of North Little Rock, Ark. passed away Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011. She was born May 13, 1913 in Randolph County, Ark. to John and Donna Morris Caffrey. Ms. Summers was a very loving mother, grandmother, and sister. She was a member of the Levy Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Summers; three sisters, Pearl Matchet, Levina Mae Honeycutt, and Ruth James; brother, Ralph Caffrey. Cherishing her memory are her son, Earl Summers Jr; two grandchildren, James Summers, and Denean Summers; and one great-grandson, Jake Pflasterer. A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2011 in the chapel of Griffin Leggett-Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock(501)835-3515.
