Mary Janet House

Mrs. Mary Janet House, 77, of Sparkman died Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at the VA Hospital in Little Rock. She was born June 6, 1934 in Powellton, WV. She was a retired Registered Nurse and an Army veteran. She was preceded in death by her parents, Comfort Burgess Hardin and Mary Elizabeth Hardin; son, Daniel Edward House; brother, Bill Hardin and one sister, Pamela Coffman. She is survived by her husband, Edward "Dick" House of Sparkman; son, Kenneth Douglas House of Phoenix, Ariz.; daughter, Beverly Sue House of Sparkman; brothers, William "Bill" (Carolyn) Hardin of Orange City, Fla., Larry (Susan) Mitchell of Mineral, Va., Harold Hardin of Jacksonville, Fla.; nieces, Wilma Adams of Holly Springs, Kay (James) Howard of Holly Springs, Brenda (Rex) Robinson of Fordyce, Ginger (John) Brown of Fordyce; nephews, Hank (Peggy) Mahan of Holly Springs, Jimmy (Marsha) Mahan of Holly Springs. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Millcreek School Of Arkansas Christmas Fund, P.O. Box 727, Fordyce, Ark. 71742. Visitation will be Friday 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Saturday at Benton Funeral Home. Burial will follow at a later date at Ft.
