Pauline Greer Hayes

Pauline Greer Hayes, age 94, of Monticello passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello. She was born April 1, 1917 in Drew County. She was the widow of Newton Lee Hayes, a homemaker and childcare worker, and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church of Monticello. She was the daughter of the late William Crawford Greer and Clara Bell Clampit Greer and was also preceded in death by one brother, William Travis Greer and wife, Willene Lansdale Greer and two loving nieces, Robbie Mae and Betty Jean Greer. She was a loving, caring lady that loved all people and spent her life serving God, her Church and everyone she came in contact with. She had such a love for people. Survivors include one nephew, William Travis ‘Buddy' Greer of Hot Springs; one niece, Linda Greer Groce and husband, Roger of Hot Springs; a host of great nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends; a special caregiver, Neece; and some special friends, Wanda Odom, Tammy Atkins, Linda Heflin and Harold and Carolyn Andrews.
