Glenda Mae Lawson, 65, of Cabot, died Friday, Dec. 9, 2011. She was born Dec. 4, 1946, in Poplar Bluff, Mo., to the late Howard (Sr.) and Nadine Johnson Ballew. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Cabot and formerly a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Poplar Bluff, Mo. She loved trout fishing, playing Bingo with her friend, Phyllis, and spending time with her family and friends. Glenda is survived by her husband of 32 years, Bill Lawson, of Cabot; her children, Ronald Pickard, of Cabot, Jimmie and his wife, Holly Lawson, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Kelly and her husband, Edward Glenn Adcock, of Cabot, and Holly Farley of St. Ann, Mo.; seven special grandchildren, Brittany Seal, Blake Adcock, Zack Barber, Gracie and Jake Lawson, and Nicollete and Micollete Farley; one great-grandson, Maddox Seal; and one brother, Howard Ballew Jr., and his fiance, Sharlie Knight, of Doniphan, Mo. Visitation will be 6 - 9 p.m., Monday, Dec. 12, 2011, in the Chapel of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. Funeral services are 2 p.m., Dec. 13, 2011, at the funeral home, with Daniel McDougal officiating.
