Maxine Brown Roberson

MAXINE BROWN ROBERSON, 91, of Little Rock, passed away on Dec. 9, 2011. She was born in Winchester, Ark., on April 15, 1920, to the late Vivian and Samuel Brown. Maxine met her loving husband, Claude "Judge" Oscar Roberson, Senior, when she was 16. They were married in Dumas, Ark., on April 1, 1943, and shared 68 wonderful years together. She is survived by her husband and their two children, Claude Oscar Roberson, Junior, of Little Rock, and Cindy R. Morse and husband, Larry Morse, of Merced, Calif. Maxine was a doting grandmother to six grandchildren: Jenny Roberson Ladd and husband Scott Ladd of Frisco, Texas; Millie Roberson of Bella Vista, Ark.; Sam Roberson of Little Rock; Dylan Morse, Ethan Morse and Ryan Morse, all from Merced, Calif. She was also blessed with four great-grandchildren: Matthew Roberson of Bella Vista, Ark.; Ty Smith, Georgia Smith and Hank Smith, all of Frisco, Texas. Maxine was a kind and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed by everyone. A memorial graveside service will be held Monday, Dec. 12, at 2 p.m. at Jefferson Cemetery outside of Winchester, Ark.
