Chris Allen Watson was born December 4,1965 in Newport, Arkansas and died December 5, 2011 in Bald Knob, Arkansas. He had just celebrated his 46th birthday. He died peacefully in his sleep from a trailer fire due to a faulty heater. He was married 10 years to Pearl Kay Zomant Thomason Watson born February 20, 1954 in Winter Haven, Florida who also died in the fire. Chris was the son of Albert H. Watson, Sr. and Edna V. Dison Watson of Bald Knob. He was a carpenter and a jack of all trades. He is survived by his daughter, Pamela LeeAnn Watson Means and her husband Bon R. Means of Conway, Arkansas. He is also survived by his devoted mother, Edna Watson of Bald Knob; stepson, Tommy Zomant of Texas; brother, Albert "Buddy" Watson Jr., and his wife Mary of Bald Knob; sister, Barbara Barron of Bald Knob; brother, Donny Watson of Bald Knob. He also leaves 2 step grandchildren; 9 nieces and nephews and 15 great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Watson Sr., brother, Larry Neil Watson, brother, Randy Lynn Watson, niece, Rachael Watson and great-nephews, Brandon and Austin Zavala. A visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home, Searcy. Graveside service will be 10 a.m., Thursday at Prince Cemetery in Bald Knob.
