Elizabeth B. Buffington

Elizabeth Bell Buffington, 92, of Magnolia, Arkansas, a long time educator in the Magnolia Public School System, departed this life on Saturday, December 10, 2011. She was born on January 12, 1919 in Noxubee, Arkansas. Active in both Trinity C.M. E. Church and the community she was a member of the National Council of Negro Women, Stewardess Board, Missionary Society and Delta Sigma Theta. She is preceded in death by her husband, Fairbanks (F.B.) Buffington. She leaves to cherish her memory daughter son, four grandchildren, two sisters, and a host of relatives and friends. Visitation will be Thursday, December 15, 2011 from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.; family hour will be from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. Funeral service will be held Saturday, December 16, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Trinity CME Church, Magnolia, Ark.
