Wanda Parks

Wanda Jean Parks, age 85, of Haskell-Benton, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2011. She was born September 1, 1926 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Mrs. Parks was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Harmony Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nick and Louella Mandrel; husband, William Henry Parks, Sr. and a daughter, Carolyn Parks. She is survived by four sons, William Henry Parks Jr. and wife Geneva of Tull, James David Parks of Haskell, Michael Eugene Parks and wife Cathy of Benton and John Alan Parks and wife Denise of Malvern; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, December 15 at Ashby Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Friday, December 16 at Ashby Funeral Home with burial at Forest Hills Cemetery. Bro. Ben Palmer will be officiating. Memorials may be made to Mt. Harmony Missionary Baptist Church at 245 Mt. Harmony Dr. in Benton, Ark. 72015.
