Roxie Joyce Goodwin Bauman

Roxie Joyce Goodwin Bauman, 86, of Almyra, died Dec. 12, 2011. She was born Feb. 4, 1925 in Almyra to John Frank and Roxie Georgia Paris Goodwin. Survivors include children, Lynn Bauman (Jim Walsmith) of Memphis, Tenn., Vicki Browder (Larry) of Hamburg; sister, Georgie Jeanne Williamson of Cabot; grandchildren, Lorie George, Brian Browder, Ceciley Stern (Marshall), Whitney Bauman, Andrew Bauman; great-grandchildren, Cole George and Devon Stern. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Andrew Lamar Bauman. Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 15th at Essex Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Almyra Cemetery. Visitation was 6 to 7 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice, 2 St. Vincent Circle, 7W, Little Rock, Ark. 72205.
