Harvey Jason Roy

Harvey Jason Roy, age 94, of North Little Rock passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2011 in Jacksonville. He was born June 27, 1917 in Ava, Missouri to Jason and Jessie Roy. He married Eleanor Moore. Mr. Roy spent most of his life as a real estate broker. Harvey was a member of the Shiners for over 60 years. He was also a Mason and a member of the Elks Lodge. He was preceded in death by a stepson, Donald Sanford and a grandson, Steve McMahan. He is survived by his wife, Eleanor of the home; step children, Candy and Lewis McMahan of Sherwood and Robin Sanford of Oceanside, California; sister, Elva Tripp of Mansfield, Missouri; four grandchildren which includes Kenny and Elizabeth McMahan of Scott; seven great-grandchildren which includes, Katelyn and Cole McMahan of Scott, Justin McMahan of Cabot and a host of relatives in Missouri. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Missouri.
