William Walter Landis

William Walter Landis, 84, born August 10, 1927, passed away December 16, 2011 in the VA Hospital, Little Rock. He was a WW II Veteran having served on a Destroyer in the South Pacific and was present at the surrender of the Japanese in Tokyo Bay. Preceding him in death is his parents William W. and Lottie Landis; brothers and sisters, Jessie Glass, Pauline Brewer, Freida Hannah, Raymond Landis, Wayne Landis and Oleta Spurgeon. Survivors include his wife Pam Cordell Landis, and many sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews that truly loved him. Visitation will be at 410 Ash Street in Lonoke between 5-9 p.m. Saturday, December 17, 2011. A memorial service will be at Lonoke Nursing and Rehab, 1501 Lincoln Street, Lonoke at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 18. Memorials can be made to Alzheimer's Arkansas, 10411 W.
