Yvonnie "Vonnie" Lyons

Yvonnie "Vonnie" Lyons, 82, of Conway, went to be with the Lord, December 16, 2011. She was born December 17, 1928, in Oklahoma, to the late Grover and Eula (Duncan) Cole. She was a homemaker and an active member of Center Point Free Will Baptist Church, in Vilonia. She was a very bold person and loved to witness to other people about Jesus Christ. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Paul Vernon Lyons; two brothers, Khomer Cole and Kemper Jo Cole; and two sisters, Eberdean Morgan and Vollie Nicholson. Aunt Vonnie is survived by her caretakers, nieces, Nanda Bolden of Greenbrier and Shannon Bostic (Bud) of Mt. Vernon; nephew, Kenny Cole (Susan) of Vilonia; and a host of other nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews and a number of friends. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Sunday, December 18, 2011, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Aunt Vonnie's funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Monday, December 19, 2011 in the Chapel of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, with Bro. Greig Caswell and Bro. Frank Fason officiating.
