JAMES EDWARD WORKS JR., 72, of Little Rock, Ark., departed this life peacefully on Dec. 12, 2011. Survivors include his loving wife, Ruth; children, Cynthia, Fedorah, James III, Felicia, Jamal, Ashley, Shannon, and Gerald; siblings, brother, Charles, sisters, Mary Walker and Inez Arbutha; many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives. A celebration of his life will be Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2011, 11 a.m. Interment will follow with honors at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 Maryland Ave. North Little Rock, Ark.
