Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Wakley and Myrtle Grant Gentry and Earl "Buck" Glosson and Myrle Waymeyer Glosson, all of Benton. Pop loved music of all types; he sang in the choir at Northeast High School, including the state competition. He loved to dance and enjoyed spending time with his great nephews. He was a Territory Relief Manager for Kellogg's Snacks before the cancer changed his life forever. Over many years of retail management, he worked for Safeway, Harvest Foods, Knox Nelson Oil Company and Carter Oil Company. Over his working career he touched many people's lives and they were enriched by knowing him. Visitation will be Tuesday, Dec. 20 from 6–8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct.
