Daisy Pierce Ward

Daisy Pierce Ward, age 67, of Benton died Tuesday, December 20, 2011. She was born July 13, 1944 in Benton. Daisy was a retired Nurses Assistant and of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Garland and Georgie Owen Pierce, husband, George Earl Ward, and a daughter-in-law, Charlotte Neal. Survivors, sons, Victor Lesh II, Haskell; Willie Neal, Benton; Stacy Ward, Warren; Tony Ward, Warren; daughters, Francis Fowler, Shreveport, La.; Cynthia Phillips, Haskell; Izeta Valejos, Barstow, Calif.; Anne Phillips, Butterfield, Ark.; brothers, John Pierce and Charlie Pierce, both of Haskell; sisters, Marjorie Clark, Helen Jones, and Margaret George, all of Haskell; 30 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be 3 p.m., Friday, December 23, 2011 at Traskwood Cemetery. Minister will be Hospice Chaplin Kim Hammer. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday at Ashby's.
