Jamie Johnson Bradshaw

Jamie Johnson Bradshaw, 95 of Star City, died Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at her home. She was born December 13, 1916 in Jefferson County to the late Walter and Melinda Mitcham Johnson. Ms. Bradshaw was a member of Yorktown First Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School for over 70 years. She graduated from White Hall High School and was a member of the Lincoln County E.H. Club. She was a retired factory worker and beautician and babysitter for many grandchildren. Also preceding her in death were her husband;Ocie "Dude" Bradshaw, two brothers; Tommy Johnson and Clyde Johnson. Survivors include one son; George Allen Bradshaw Sr. and wife Mary of Yorktown, two daughters; Etta V. Lowe and husband Royce, Patsy Winningham and husband Dwight, all of Yorktown, two sisters; Mildred Kroll and Marylou Torres, both of Sulphur Springs, Ark., seven grandchildren; Karon Wynn, George A. "Al" Bradshaw Jr., Gregory Wayne Wynn, James Ocie "Joe" Bradshaw, Anissa Ross, Talana Creighton and Lisa Ross, 14 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 10 a.m., Friday, December 23, 2011 at Griffin Funeral Service Chapel. Bro. Robert Green and Bro. Gary Cresswell will officiate. Visitation will be from 5:30-7:30 p.m., Thursday, December 22, 2011 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers are Walter Kroll, Aurther Kroll, Mike Kroll, Robert Johnson, Ricky Baxter, Danny Baugh and Jimmy Baugh.
