William H. "Bill" Stubblefield Jr.

William H. "Bill" Stubblefield Jr., age 77, died December 18, 2011, in Batesville, Miss. He was born in Fayetteville, Ark. to William Hugh and Evelyn Stubblefield. He played football at the University of Arkansas and was a Sigma Chi. He was active in First United Methodist Church and numerous community service organizations. He is survived by his wife, Ky; children, Bill, III, (Pamela), Oxford, Miss.; Holly and Polly, Sarasota, Fla.; Parnell, Pope, Miss.; and Shannon Jackson (Andrew), Olive Branch, Miss.; two brothers, Don Stubblefield (Gail), Missouri, and David Stubblefield (Suzanne), formerly of Fort Smith and now Texas; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
