Survivors: wife, Doris Majors; children, Jeanne Baker and her husband, John, Danville, John Majors Jr. and wife, Elizabeth, Waldron; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, J.L. Majors Jr., Perry; sisters, Elise Thompson, Carlsbad, Pauline Fair, Little Rock, Francis Buckman, DeWitt, Iris Susie Christy, Texas; sisters-in-law, Pauline Harris, Mary Monroe and husband, Joe of Danville. Funeral: Monday, 2 p.m. Danville Baptist Church. Interment: Russell Cemetery, Belleville. Cornwell Funeral Home, Danville.
