Patricia Green Butler

Patricia Green Butler, 87, of Osceola, passed away at home Friday, Dec. 23, 2011. She was born Sept. 8, 1924 in Blytheville, Ark. to the late Carl and Iva Jarbou Green. Patty was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She attended the University of Arkansas, where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority. She continued to cheer for the Razorbacks until her final days. Patty was an active member of St. Matthew Catholic Church from the time of her marriage. She was involved in charity organizations, including The PEO Sisterhood (past president), and the Osceola Junior Auxiliary (past president). Surviving their mother are: Frank Butler III (Jaylene) of Little Rock; Tricia Butler Feilke (David) of Stuttgart; Michael Butler (Julie) of Memphis; and Bob Butler (Debbie) of North Little Rock. Patty's pride and joy were her seven grandchildren: Brooke Butler White (Jacob) of Little Rock; Ben Butler IV (Katherine) of Little Rock; Matthew Feilke (Sally) of Stuttgart; Jason Feilke (Lauren) of Little Rock; Patrick Feilke (Linzay) of Little Rock; Will Butler (Lydia) of Memphis; and Ann Butler of Memphis. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren. Patty was preceded in death by her parents, and by her beloved husband, Ben. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Dec. 26 at 11 a.m. at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Osceola. Burial will follow at Ermen Cemetery. Roller-Swift Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to The American Cancer Society.
