Bruce "Poppy" Kenneth Taylor, 61, of Pine Bluff, Ark., died Saturday, Dec. 24, 2011, at UAMS in Little Rock. He was born June 22, 1950, in Quonset Point, R.I., to Frank Taylor and Bette Taylor-Taylor. He was reared and educated in Memphis, graduating from Central High School. Mr. Taylor moved to Pine Bluff in the 70s and was the owner and operator of Electrical Systems and Controls, Inc. He was a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Cathedral Church in Memphis, Tenn. While living in Pine Bluff he attended Grace Episcopal Church. He was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his loving wife of 22 years, JoAnn Varnell Taylor; daughters, Sherri Fry of Dallas, Texas, Jessica Graves of Pine Bluff, Linde Tullos of North Little Rock; a son, Jeremy Yarbrough of Pine Bluff; his mother, Bette Taylor of Pine Bluff; four grandchildren, Ethan Graves, Landyn Graves, Elizabeth Fry and Taylor James. Visitation will be Tuesday 6 to 8 p.m. at Robinson's. Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2011, Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Reverend Mike Holcomb officiating. Burial will follow in Brown Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Bruce K.
