James Manuel Bell

James Manuel Bell, 90, of Little Rock passed away on December 26th, 2011. He was born on November 13, 1921 to the late Will and Marjorie (Smith) Bell. He was an Air Force veteran. James was the retired owner of Bell Textile; he also retired from Myer's Chemical and Baptist Health System. He attended Oak Grove Baptist Church. James enjoyed fishing, the rodeo and country music. He treasured the time he spent with his grandchildren and his great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife of over 52 years, Murl Dean Bell; a step daughter Linda Hutchinson; his brothers Earl and Myles and a sister Melba. James leaves to cherish his memory his children Myles Bell and Melissa Bell-Mangum and her husband Randy; his stepdaughter Sheila Yates and her husband Dan; his son-in-law Wayne Hutchinson; his grandchildren Nicholas Horton, Jessica Medders and Jeremy Horton; his great-granddaughter whom he called his little beauty, Bailie and his great-grandson who was his best little buddy Nathaniel and a host of extended family and friends. Funeral services will be on Thursday, December 29th at 10 a.m. in the chapel at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home with burial to follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
