Christeen Gentry

Christeen Gentry, 78, of Damascus, passed away, Saturday, December 24, 2011. She was born Friday, March 10, 1933 in Damascus to the late Everett and Ivy (Grissom) Holland. Mrs. Gentry was a factory worker for Westinghouse and Phillips Electric in Little Rock retiring after 40 years. She loved painting, gardening and bird watching. She attended the Rose City Church of Christ when able. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John David Gentry; a daughter Janice Faye Brewer; and 10 brothers and sisters. She leaves to cherish her memory, a son, Steve Gentry and his wife Sandie of Jacksonville; a daughter, Vickie Henry and her husband Glen of Cabot; three sisters, Elwanda Jones of Jacksonville, Wilma Russell of Gillette and Betty Henry of Damascus; a brother, Junior Holland of Gravel Ridge; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
