Edward Lee Groves

Edward Lee Groves, age 68, of Schlater, Miss. died Tuesday, Dec. 28 at Greenwood Leflore Hospital, Greenwood, Miss. He was born Aug. 12, 1942 at Dermott, Ark. a son of the late Franklin Washington Groves and Sarah Marguerite Kelly Groves. He served in the US Navy, was a Pentecostal and was a retired Powerhouse worker for International Paper Company. Surviving is a son Frank Groves, Monticello, Ark; two daughters Jennifer Groves Stone, Star City, Ark. and Brandy Groves Smith, Schlater, Miss; one stepson Thomas Everette Jr, Greenwood, Miss; one stepdaughter, Tammy Mims, Coila, Miss; one sister Sarah Emilie Groves Jones, New Edinburg, Ark; six grandchildren. Funeral services 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 2, at Frazer's Chapel. Burial in Moseley Cemetery near Warren by Frazer's Funeral Home.
