Era Holland Allison

Era Holland Allison, age 89, of Perryville, Ark., passed away Thursday, Dec. 30, 2010. She was born Jan. 18, 1921, in Cherry Hill, Ark., a daughter of Loyd O. Holland and Florence O. Porter Holland. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Perryville, Past Worthy Matron with the Perryville Order of the Eastern Star, a retired revenue agent from the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration and the widow of Merrell Leroy Allison. Survivors include her sons Carroll W. (Kathy) Allison of Hot Springs Village and Michael L. Allison (Patty) of Morrilton; daughter, Patricia Ann Allison of Greenwood; 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Phyllis M. Sibley. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 3, 2011, at Perryville Cemetery with Dr. Mike Stanley and Jason Kendrick officiating. Arrangements are by Harris Funeral Home of Perryville.
