Johanna "Mickey" Parsons, of Benton, rejoined the love of her life on Dec. 29, 2010. She was born May 13, 1924 in Hartford, Conn. to the late Herbert Post and Johanna Cahill Post. She worked at the family owned store for 13 years. Mrs. Parsons was a member of River Street Church of Christ in Benton. She was active at the church and would do anything for anybody. She was best known for her world famous biscuits and cherry cheese cake. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Parsons in 2009; four brothers and three sisters. Survivors include two sons, Tommy Parsons (Sharon) and Bruce Parsons (Rhonda) both of Benton; four grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 3, 2011 at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home in Benton (501-315-4047) with Bro. Jack Avaritt officiating. Interment will follow at New Rosemont Memorial Park in Benton. Visitation will be held from 2–4 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 2, 2011 at the funeral home.
