Jerry Vaughan Hinson

Jerry Vaughan Hinson, 67, of Des Arc died at his home Friday, Dec. 31, 2010. He was born June 14, 1943 in Pine Bluff, Ark. to Eugene and Virginia (Ogilvie) Hinson. He received his BSE from Henderson State University and his ME from the University of Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife Judy, one son Billy Hinson and wife Jane; two sisters Marcia Kelly and husband John, Sallye Beth Brown; one granddaughter Lilly Jane Hinson; one step grandson C. J. Kennedy. Visitation is 2-4 Sunday at Garth Funeral Home. Funeral services are 2 p.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church with burial in Lakeside Cemetery by Garth Funeral Home.
