Mary Ruth Holston

Mary Ruth Holston of Searcy, went to be with the Lord Thursday, Dec. 30th, 2010. She is preceded in death by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Seth Hastings Sr.; stepmother, Reba Hastings; her sister, Edna Hastings and her husband of 54 years, Rev. John T. Holston. She is survived by two sons, John Holston and his wife Phyllis of Searcy, Fred Holston and his wife Pam of Bountiful, Utah; two grandchildren, Heather Stewart and husband Russ of Houston, Texas, James Holston and wife Mandy of Sheridan, Ark.; five grandchildren, Zoe Stewart, Alexis Stewart, Rebekah Stewart, Hanah Stewart of Houston and Madison McElroy of Sheridan, Ark.; her brother Seth Hastings Jr. and his wife Betty of Hot Springs; three nieces Pam Schurett of Hot Springs, Patty Cloyd of Nashville, Tenn. and Penny Madsen of Stuttgart. A Memorial service will be held at Baring Cross Baptist Church in Sherwood, Ark. Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2011 at 10 a.m. with Dr. Marty Watson officiating. Interment will be at Lone Tree Cemetery in Stuttgart, Ark. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the "CTC" building fund of Baring Cross Baptist Church, 7541 Warden Rd., Sherwood, Ark. 72120.
