Flora Roberta Vaughn

Flora Roberta Vaughn, 89, of Harrison, Ark., went home to be with the Lord on Jan. 1, 2011 while at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison, Ark. Services will be held at Fraker Funeral Home in Marshfield, Mo., on Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2011 at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery in Marshfield. Her grandson, Jason King, of Ozark Baptist Church in Bergman, Ark., will officiate. Pallbearers will be Jadon King, Nickolas Procino, Randy Martin, Michael Free, Chase Freeman, and Drake Free. Honorary pallbearers will be James Edward Hiller Jr., Levi Jonathon Hiller, Ulys Youngblood, and Cynthia Free. Roberta was the daughter of Arnold Hobson Myers and Sidney Elizabeth Oder Myers, born Dec. 27, 1921 in Marshfield, Mo. She was a member of the Eagle Heights Baptist Church in Harrison. Roberta was loved by all who ever knew her. She is known for her loving nature, beautiful spirit, glowing personality, devotion to family, and a love for all people. She will be sorely missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and "Lib" Myers. Her first husband and father of her children, James Edward King; and her second husband, Dyer Thomas Vaughn. Roberta is survived by her sister, Norma Josephine Hiller, of Bell Gardens, Calif.; two sons, Jack King and his wife Carol, of Eagle Rock, Mo., and Rance King and wife Paula, of Harrison, Ark.; a stepson, Richard Vaughn and wife Dales, of Charlotte, N.C.; six grandchildren, Jason King and wife Cathie, of Bergman, Ark., Sean King and wife Corrie, of Harrison, Ark., Jaclynn Procino and husband Nickolas, of Reed Springs, Mo., Corrina King, of Harrison, Ark., Shandon King, of Springfield, Mo., and Christy Vaughn, of Charlotte, N.C.; five great-grandchildren, Jadon, Meckenzie, and Zakary King, Jarrin and Sophia Procino; and a host of family and friends.
