Marguerite Doyz Herndon

MARGUERITE DOYZ HERNDON, 91, of Little Rock, went to be with the Lord on Friday, Dec. 31, 2010. She was born on April 27, 1919, in Little Rock, Ark., a daughter of the late Coddington and Ellis Williams Doyz. She was a member of Congo Road Baptist Church and Esther Gatlin Adult Women's Class. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of over 50 years, Albert William Herndon, two sisters and one great-grandchild. She is survived by three daughters, Betty Jane Carnahan and her husband Phil of Marietta, Ga., Nancy Jo Hossler and her husband Jack of Little Rock, and Rebecca Walker and her husband Wayne of Benton; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Monday, Jan. 3, 2011 at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, (501)455-5800. A graveside service will be held 10 a.m., Jan. 4, 2011, at Pinecrest Memorial Park, with Rev. Jeff Langley officiating.
