Trevor Cate

Trevor Cate, age 80, of Malvern, passed away Dec. 31, 2010. He was born July 24, 1930 in Glen Rose to the late William and Julia Osborn Cate. Mr. Cate was retired from auto parts business in Malvern and was a United States Army Veteran. Mr. Cate also enjoyed gardening, going to yard sales and spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife, Hazel Cate the love of his life, sons, Troy Cate and his wife Lynette and Terry Cate and his wife Lesa, sister, Martha Thomas all of Malvern; grandchildren, Jason (Gina) Cate of Hot Springs, Brittany (John) Addington of Raymore, Mo., and Kevin Cate of Malvern, great-grandchildren, Jackson, Landry and Corley Cate, and numerous nieces and nephews and friends. Services will be Monday, Jan. 3, at 10 a.m. in the Regency Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dooley Fowler officiating. Burial will be in Round Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers: Jason Cate, Cate, John Addington, Gary Cate, Ricky Cate and Danny Cate. Honorary pallbearers are Jay Walton and Herman Ray. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Round Hill Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 1226, Malvern, Ark., 72104. Arrangements are by Regency Funeral Home.
