Curtis Jennings Miller

Curtis Jennings Miller, 92, of Conway, Arkansas, died peacefully in his home, surrounded by his beloved wife, Ruth and all his children, on Saturday, January 1, 2011. He was born May 22, 1918, in Mayflower, Arkansas, a son of the late Joseph L. and Lilly (Satterfield) Miller. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Ruella Potts. He was a Christian and attended Northside church of Christ in Conway. He was a long-time salesman, who valued and respected his customers and counted them as personal friends. He was a kind and honest man who loved traveling, nature, hunting and fishing. He was a great story teller and loved recounting tales of family and friends. Survivors are his wife, Ruth Mae (Durham) Miller; children, Nancy C. Walsh (Thomas); Joe A. Miller (Kay); Dr. David L. Miller (Karen); grandchildren, Thomas L. Walsh III, Wendy Walsh Quinn, Bryan Scott Walsh, Kathie Walsh Roberson, Michael Curtis Walsh, Alan Jennings Miller, Deese R. Miller, Megan Elisabeth Miller, Benjamin John Miller; 16 great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Robbie Miller and Juanita Sullivan; six nephews and one niece.
