Stephen Bruce "Bear" Russell

Stephen Bruce "Bear" Russell 56, of Griffithsville, passed away December 30, 2010, born in Chelsea, Mass., Bear always considered Monticello, Miss., his hometown. Bear was an avid waterfowler and fisherman, hunting all over North America. Bear worked for Stephens, Inc. as a financial banker. He also owned his own businesses "The Vannery" and "Big Boy Toys." He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert E. and Lois Jean Russell. Bear is survived by his brothers, Keith M. Russell and Major J. (Lisa) Russell and his sister, Leah M. (Delbert) Andrews and his longtime companion and caregiver Mary Ann Ables and her son, Cody Ables.
