William I. Pippin, Sr.

William I. Pippin Sr., 85, of Sherwood passed away Friday, December 31, 2010. He was born to the late Noble and Madie Hendrix Pippin in Jacksonville. He was preceded in death by his parents. William retired as a Military Officer from the Army. He was a loving and caring husband, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be missed by all that knew him. He is survived by his wife, Lois M. Pippin; two grandchildren, William Travis Pippin, of Orlando FL and Heather Anise Eubanks of Sherwood, Ark.; step-son, Robert Smith of Little Rock; two brothers, Morris Lynden Pippin and wife, Linda of North Little Rock and Charles Pippin of New Mexico; one sister, Elouise Buckley of Florida; two great-grandchildren, Quincy and Conner Eubanks; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends. Graveside service will at 10 a.m., Thursday, January 6, 2011 at Arkansas State Veterans' Cemetery, North Little Rock, Ark. Arrangements made by Roller-Owens Funeral Home (501-791-7400).
