Catherine Eckford Johnson

Catherine Eckford Johnson of Little Rock, Ark., departed January 3, 2011. Her parents were Irene and Oscar Eckford Sr. She married and had no children of her own. Her survivors are three nieces, Anna Eckford Goynes and Elizabeth Eckford of Little Rock and Catherine Yvonne Eckford of Dallas, Texas; her nephews, Oscar Eckford, III of Little Rock and Bolden M. Eckford of Harbor City, Calif. Her brother, Oscar Eckford preceded her in death. Funeral services will be Friday, January 7, 2011, 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Haven of Rest Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, 10-11 a.m., prior to service, both services at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home Chapel, 1200 Chester St., LR (501) 372-1305.
