Dorothy Jean Dixon

Dorothy Jean Dixon of Jacksonville, Ark., departed this life January 5, 2011. Her survivors include: husband, Lewis Dixon, III; children, Uhura M. Dixon, Tomeka C.A. Dixon, Lewis Dixon IV, Stefon Moss; grandchildren, Desjambra Parker-Dixon, Earnest Harper-Dixon, Jabari Leggette-Dixon and Serenity Moss; a host of other loving relatives and friends. Home going services will be Monday, January 10, 2011, 11 a.m., at Progressive Church, 9895 Hwy. 165 W. Scott, Ark.. Interment will follow with honors at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 Maryland Ave. North Little Rock, Ark. Family visitation will be Sunday, January 9, 2011, 4-5 p.m., at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 S. Chester St., LR (501) 372-1305.
