Joel B. Oswald

Joel B. Oswald, 68, of Little Rock died Wednesday, January 5, 2011. He was born in Greenville, Mississippi on January 10, 1942, the son of James Henry Oswald and Fanny Taylor Oswald. He was a loving husband and father and attended Northside Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Mayflower. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Joyce Calley Oswald; a son, Timothy Oswald and his wife Shannon; two granddaughters, Ashley and Traci; a grandson, John; two sisters, Rose Marie Gorman and Louise Dillon; two loving pet companions, Sassy and Roscoe; and other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Nelson and his staff, as well as the doctors and nurses at UAMS and Allegiance Specialty Hospital for their love and compassionate care. The family will receive friends at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home (501) 224-8300 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday. The funeral service will be at 12 noon, Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Northside Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Mayflower. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
