Nellie Irene Holt Shoptaw

Nellie Irene Holt Shoptaw, 75, of Jacksonville passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at Springhill Memorial Hospital. Nellie was a member of North Hills Baptist Church and was employed at Jacksonville Medical Center.She is survived by two brothers, W.T. (Dorothy) Holt, and A.J. (Cheryl) Holt, all of Jacksonville; sister, Billie Ann Lentz, of Pason, Arizona; sister-in-law, Joyce Burks, of Jacksonville; nephew, Bill (Michele) Holt and daughter Allison of Jacksonville; six nieces, Traci Holt (Tim Waters) of Jacksonville, Cheri (Atlas) Smith, of Perryville, Linda (Rich) Stodle, of Chino, California, Teri (Hatti) Purri and children of New Zealand, Renee (David) Spencer and children of Jacksonville, Ronda Woodward and children of Jacksonville and her beloved cat, Sparkie. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Rose Holt; husband, Charles Shoptaw and her nephew, Mike Lentz. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m., Sunday at North Hills Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Ward officiating. Arrangements by North Little Rock Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 758-1170.
