Carolyn R. Price

Carolyn R. Price, 65, was called home to be with the Lord, Jan. 7, 2011. Carolyn was born in Bakersfield, Calif., Sept. 14, 1945 to L.F. and Charlotte Bailey. Survived by her husband of 45 years, Leon Price; daughter, Lela Cromwell of Searcy; sons, Gearl Gosha of Judsonia and Lyndel Price of Bryant; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; brothers, Bob Bailey of Newport and Jim Bailey of Rich; sister, Alice McCallister of White Hall. Preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jack, Bill, Ross and Ed Bailey; sisters, Lorene Bailey, Yvonne Cook and Opal Henley. She was a charter member of Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Searcy where she taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. She worked hard her whole adult life, working 23 years as an inspector at Matthews Bronze in Searcy. Our beloved wife, mother and sister will be sadly missed.
