Blanche Leola Martinez

Blanche Leola Martinez, age 87, of Little Rock, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 8, 2011. She was born January 20, 1923 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to the late George and Edna (Brewer) Odom. She was a nurse for 15 years and a member of St. Theresa's Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ronaldo Martinez and daughter, Alta June Ware. She is survived by daughters, Billie (Chuck) Marcum; Betty (Alvin) Ware; son, James Young; 17 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Funeral service will be 1 p.m., Thursday, January 13, 2011 at St. Theresa's Catholic Church, 6221 Baseline Road, Little Rock, Ark. with Father Tony Robbins presiding. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
