Gerald Dewayne Ballard

Gerald D. Ballard, age 68, of Floyd, died Saturday, January 8, 2011. He was a retired truck driver and carpenter. Gerald was a member of the Floyd Assembly of God. He is survived by his wife, Billie K. Ballard of Floyd; his mother, Muriel M. Kelly of Beebe; one son, Johnny D. (Fonda) Ballard of Floyd; one daughter, Janis Hackler of Floyd; one grandson, Christian Wayne Hackler of Floyd; two brothers, James C. (Katherine) Ballard and Donald E. (Reba) Ballard all of Beebe; and three sisters, Doris M. Hill and Wilma (Russell) Perry, both of Beebe, and Charolette (Harley) Powell of Jacksonville. Gerald was preceded in death by his father, Lewis G. Ballard; two brothers, Lewis Doyle Ballard and Oreus Derald Ballard; and one brother-in-law, Rev. Oneal Hill. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Westbrook Funeral Home in Beebe.
