Joe L. Hood 75, of Scott passed away January 5, 2011. He leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Norma Hood of Scott; children, Steven Hood, Linda Oakley, and Angela Hood all of Long Beach California.; step-daughter, Lisa Thomas of Long Beach California. Mr. Hood will lie in state January 14, 2010 from 1-5 p.m. at Superior. Homegoing celebration January 15, 2010, 11 a.m. at St. Matthew Baptist Church in Kerr. Superior Funeral Services, 5017 E.
