Ruth Doris Elliott Ask

Ruth Doris Elliott Ask of Little Rock, Arkansas went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 9th, 2011. She was born July 4th, 1917 in Little Rock to Walter L. and Nettie Morehart Elliott. She was a member of Highland Valley United Methodist Church in Little Rock. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Danley Ask; brother, Clayton Elliott; sister, Maurine Jackson; and a great-grandson, Evan Donaghy. Cherishing her memory are her son, Douglas Ask (Mary Frances), her granddaughters, Stacy Donaghy, Kristy Stokes (Shannon), Sara Fenter (Jerry); grandsons, Mike Cole (Mary Jane), and Mark Cole, eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of Ms. Ask's life will be held Thursday, January 13th, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Highland Valley United Methodist Church, with Rev. Daniel Kirkpatrick officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawm Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 12th, 2011 from 5-7 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road in North Little Rock. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Highland Valley United Methodist Church, 15524 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Arkansas, 72211.
