Vivian McKimmey Malloy, age 85, of Crossett passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at Stonegate Villa Health and Rehab. She was born on May 13, 1925 in Selma, Ala. to her parents, Eugene and Irma Woodard McKimmey. Mrs. Malloy was a retired secretary for Georgia Pacific Corp. and was a member of First Baptist Church. She enjoyed visiting with family and friends and will be remembered as a great cook. Mrs. Malloy was preceded in death by a twin brother, Vernon McKimmey, and a sister Mary Draper. Survivors include; her husband, Robert F. Malloy of Crossett, Ark.; two sons, Robert Michael Malloy (Betty) of Texarkana, Ark. and Mark Jefferson Malloy of Crossett, Ark.; one daughter, Melissa Wyatt (Joe) of Zachary, La.; five grandchildren, Mason, Matthew, Brook, Carter, and Christian, and two great-grandchildren, Bryan and Cole. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Friday, January 14, 2011 at First Baptist Church with Bro. Jamie Staley officiating. Interment will follow at Lakewood Cemetery under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., Thursday at the First Baptist Church MMC Building.
