JW Burch

JW Burch, 81, of Fayetteville, Ark., formerly of Harrison, died at Washington Regional Medical Center on January 12, 2011. Mr. Burch was born on February 23, 1929, at Flippin, Ark., the son of Frank and Lena Melton Burch. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Georgie Lee Dobbs, Ivon Wood, Lois Boyd; his Brother Jewel Burch. JW was a retired lineman for AP&L where he worked for 35 years. Mr. Burch Loved spending time hunting, fishing, camping, and hiking along the Buffalo River. JW was a member of the Sang Avenue Baptist Church in Fayetteville Ark. .JW is survived by his wife, Barbara J. Lehman Burch, of the home; two sons, Steve Burch and Joe and wife Cindy Burch and; his grandsons, Colby and Christopher along with many friends and family throughout the community. Services will be held Saturday January 15, 2011 at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev Paul Dennis Officiating. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery with Mike Dodson, Mark Billings, Ronnie Gregory, Terry Young, David Breedlove, Don Crigler Serving as Pallbearers and Bill Johnson, Raymond Williams, Lester Gibson, Lloyd Keeter, his Grandsons Colby & Chris along with his Sunday school class and his friends from Sang Avenue Baptist Church serving as Honorary Pallbearers.
