Ann Guthridge Tschiemer

ANN GUTHRIDGE TSCHIEMER, 78, of Little Rock, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, Jan. 14, 2011. She was born July 25, 1932. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Jeff and Elizabeth Guthridge; her husband, Robert E. Tschiemer; her brother, David Guthridge; and her two brothers-in-law, George Tschiemer and Ralph Jones. Ann was a long-time member of Grace Lutheran Church where she served in the past as a Sunday School teacher and pianist. Survivors include her two sons, Robert S. Tschiemer and wife Kimberly of Mayflower, and Michael D. Tschiemer and wife Pamela of Little Rock; five grandchildren, Megan, Emily, Allison and Katherine Tschiemer of Mayflower and Daniel Tschiemer of Little Rock; three step-grandchildren, Stephen and Carl Amonette of Nashville, Ark., and Larena Sinks of Mayflower; sister-in-law, Marion Tschiemer of North Little Rock; brother-in-law, James C. "Buddy" Tschiemer of Little Rock; sister-in-law, Martha Lee Jones of Little Rock; and three nephews, Chris Jones of Fairfax, Va., Mark Jones of Little Rock, and Ralph Tschiemer of Dallas, Texas. The family wishes to express their appreciation to "Dr. A." and the staff and care providers at Nursing & Rehab at Good Shepherd and at Hospice Home Care Inpatient Center, as well as Pastor James Walter and Grace Lutheran Church. Visitation will be held from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 17, 2011, at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home, 10200 Hwy 5 North, Alexander (501-455-1067). Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2011, at Grace Lutheran Church, 5124 Hillcrest Ave., Little Rock, Ark., 72205 (501-663-3631) with Reverend James C. Walter officiating.
