JAMES U. BURNETT, 70, of Mabelvale went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Jan. 15, 2011 with his loving family by his side. Mr. Burnett was born on July 15, 1940 to the late, James Monroe and Allie Burnett in Amity, Ark. After 35 years of service he retired from Southwest Fence Company. James was a member of Otter Creek United Pentecostal Church. Mr. Burnett is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Deloris Burnett; two daughters, Pam Roberts (Raymond) of Bee Branch and Charlotte Baker (Johnny) of Benton; two sons, David Burnett (Jessica) of Ward and Kevin Burnett (Katrina) of Benton; two sisters, Betty Copeland of Sikeston, Mo. and Jimmie Lou Grissom of Vilonia; 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Kaylee and great grandson, Hunter. A celebration of Mr. Burnett's life will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2011 at 3 p.m. at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home.
